DD-WRT is a Linux-based firmware project developed to enhance the performance and features of wireless Internet routers. Launched in 2005, DD-WRT is one of the most popular alternative router firmwares due to its longevity of existence and support for a large array of devices.

The GUI for DD-WRT became unresponsive and I had to reboot to bring it back. Not sure if I’m misunderstanding smart dns or not but was wondering if Anyone could explain it to me and help me figure out if I’m doing something wrong or this is just a big and if this is something which would actually benefit someone with two local dns servers.

I haven't been able to get a hold of a laptop with ethernet port to try to see if I can look into the router that way. But anyway once the router is turned on now, it will become connected to both gateways and will start routing traffic. I can access dd-wrt …
